A few months ago, I had a great idea while procrastinating from studying for exams. I love books and I love free things. If I can go to a hotel room and take a Gideon bible for free, surely they would send one to my house. Now, since I already owned eight bibles at the time, I didn’t find the bible itself particularly interesting. I was more excited about the aspect that they offer different bibles for different countries and language regions. As I looked into it, it turns out they would only send out one free copy of an English KJV. My Gideon hopes ended there.(By the way, if anyone ever finds a non-English bible in a hotel room, pick it up and send it my way.)
With my mind on that note, I had the idea to ask the Mormons for a free Book of Mormon. Sure enough, there was a simple form on their site. I unchecked the box that offered a visit from two representatives and clicked submit. While I was there, I had them send me a KJV bible too. Easy enough.
The next week, I received two separate packages from the Mormons. One bible, one Book of Mormon. I opened each, threw away the sheet of paper offering to have two of their representatives come to my home for an hour long talk, then put them on my bookshelf. After using almost no effort, I got two brand new, mass produced books.
I might point out now that my entire dealing with the Mormons stems from my realization that I make fun of them almost ceaselessly on the basis of mostly secondhand sources. I decided I would give them a chance at dignity and try reading their special book.

Stay tuned. That’s what Parts 2 and following are about.
I believe you were found out buddy! lol
Nice post on the LDS from your position. Most people would not even take the time to sit through a meeting.
Here is a good website you might want to check out.. It has loads of and information in refuting the LDS http://www.irr.org/MIT/default.html
However keep in mind that the writer Paul got his conversion in information through theophany in the beginning…
Take care!
How interesting. That still doesn’t make Paul greater than Jesus, though. Besides, I thought that point was rather obvious to everyone.
LoL I think I was misunderstood I do not believe Paul was greater then Jesus. I just think that his credibility and claims to apostleship is far different then the teachings of Christ. Joseph Smith through the theophany also went the same path when constructing Mormonism.

That was part of the argument in part 5. Jesus is greater than any prophet, therefore greater than Joseph Smith. Any teachings of Jesus would have to hold stronger power than anything a prophet would have to say.
